I got the PCG-GRX316G.
I upgradet it from:
1,6 Ghz to 2Ghz
from 256Mb RAM to 1 GB (BIOS update requierd)
from 20GB HDD to 120GB
And all that for 40 Euro!
and i changet the Keyboard because the Spacebar broke down.

It really depends …
It really depends on the ram and video card. You probably need at least a 16MB card to run youtube smoothly. I ran youtube on an old system with a 4mb card and it was choppy, and then again on a 32mb card system (both integrated) and it was smooth. RAM also helps, at least 128MB. 256MB is ideal.

Cool laptop! It has an Intel Pentium MMX just like the laptop I got for free. Being a laptop, the Pentium MMX is most likely the Tillamook core, which was meant for laptops and doesn’t need a fan. It’s between 200 and 300 Mhz.
