Are Itunes files transferable from a Sony Vaio laptop to a Mac?

I use Itunes for everything from music to movies to tvshows… Right now I have a Sony Vaio laptop, but I am planning on buying a Mac. Is it possible to transfer my library and everything from my Vaio laptop to my Mac?
All of my files were bought from the Itunes store, if that makes any difference…

    Yes, just make sure you transfer everything over BEFORE you connect your Ipod.
