Are the headphones that come with a Sony PSP compatible with the iPod or other devices?

The headphones that arrive with the Sony PSP have two little green lines on the plug. Is this a standard headphone? Can this work with other devices? Can I use other headphones with the PSP?

They do, but just remember, the bigger the speakers/headphones, the more they’re going to drain your battery and the more you drain and recharge your battery the sooner you’ll have to replace your battery and that costs more money.

Yep. Most ANY device that has a headphone port, unless it has the big 1/4" plugs, can use any kinda headphones you want. I used my PSP headphones for my iPod until they broke. They were much better than the normal ones.
