My husband and I are about to buy a new tv, ours went out, and we are just wanting some customer reviews on the Sony Bravia, thanks!
Cnet does provide a nice review of the KDL32M4000, but this site is NOT about customer reviews. Here are some customer reviews in response to your question:

My take on this TV is as follows: I have worked with the Sony KDL19M4000, KDL26M4000 & the KDL32M4000; I have not seen the KDL37M4000. Based on these observations, I could not recommend the KDL37M4000. Though the M4000 series improved significantly on its black levels from the 2007 models, its overall contrast remains low and does not provide a very bright image in comparison to its rivals. Worse, images tend to be unclear and fuzzy. This TV just does not provide the characteristic sharp and crisp images that we all have come to appreciate from Sony products.
