it only takes a second, and you can set the WB of of anything, usually blue stuff, to get nice warm colors

it takes waaay too …
it takes waaay too long, and plus you pretty much have to carry a piece of paper with you everywhere you go so you have something to point the camera at.
every time you go into new lighting, you have to re white balance.

this camera only …
this camera only comes with a fire wire if your computer comes with the port then your fine but i would recommend you use a small capturing camera to put your film on the computer cause this camera is running on 14 years so if you capture with it you could break the heads and replacing the heads costs allot more than an regular mini dv camera

So I just got my VX1k in the mail today, i recorded a little test video (with a brand new sony premium), and then after uploading it onto the computer with my capture cam, I noticed the audio was delayed.
