Can anyone help me with a problem with Playstation/Sony?

My PlayStation started making circular scratches on my discs, so I contacted Sony, and they asked me to send off the discs so that they could look at the damage, and replace them, and get me a new PlayStation.
But I can’t remember whether they asked me to send off the PlayStation with the discs.
Would anyone know whether I have to send it off?
It’s a PS2, sorry about the confusion.

send the disc on there ownn they will never expect you to send the ps3 someone will come and collect it make sure you check there id
they will replace everything you give

they might take a while wwith giving it back because they want to improve the quality and prevent it from happening to other ones

If they are going to replace it they will need it back, when my ps3 was replaced I kept the old one and they did a swap when delivered. Did they give you a reference number? If so, call again to double check, you don’t want to screw up your chances of getting it replaced!

No if in any way they’ll take the playstation then they’ll send a courier to collect it so just send off the disks on there own

Send the disc on it’s own, then they will obviously see the damage, and contact you back to arrange a date to deliver a new playstation, and at the same time, take your broken one away.

Call then up and ask them. Generally if they want a console, they should collect it themselves to make sure that it’s handled properly and not screwed up by the mail.

It usually says it in the owners manual, but if you lost it the number is By Phone at: 1-800-345-7669 (800-345-SONY)
