Can I use an old sony memory stick (smaller kind) on a camera that used the pro duo?

I have an older sony camera that used a sony memory stick (the older version) I just bought a new sony DSC 150 that uses the memory stick pro duo. Can I use my old memory stick? Do I need to buy an adaptor?

Memory stick pro duo is smaller in size than the traditional memory stick, so you can’t use memory stick in a camera that takes memory stick pro duo.
