Can sony dvd camcorder media be played directly in dvd player?

I wanted to buy Sony DVD Camcorder model 610E, the question is, if I record something with the camcorder, can it be played on the DVD player directly? And also, do i have to use any other software to transfer it into PC?

You need to finalise the disk in the camcorder before you can do anything with it on either a DVD player or a computer. To transfer the files to a PC (which you don’t need to do if you just want to play the disk) you can use DVDDecrypter or a video editor. Windows Movie Maker should already be on your PC, but it can’t do it!
