I just bought a Zune and am thinking of getting a subscription to Zune Pass, but I still like to take my much smaller Sony Walkman with me for walks and such. If I pay for music from Zune, will I be able to listen to it on my Walkman or other device? Or if I got Rhapsody instead, would it work with my Zune?
I firmly believe that the zune pass songs have some form of DRM. Example: When you get zune pass songs and the pass expires so does the ability to play the songs. You won't be able to play them until you get another zune pass and sync your device. Of course this only applies to songs you obtain using your zune pass (which is a temporary situation as long as your pass is valid). Which means there should be a problem putting it on another device since it has some form of restriction on it. However, I still would try it to see if it worked. Hey, anything is work a try…it may work despite.

It depends. You got to make sure that any of the songs that you use are DRM free, or else it may not work.
