Can you use a sony camcorder called SONY HDR-SR12 and plug in the USB cable from the camcorder into the PS3′s USB and use it as a webcam? Can you also use it as a microphone if the camcorder has it?

Simple answer, no. You can download any videos you take with it to the PS3, but you can not use it as a webcam or microphone (headset)
