    whoops sorry …
whoops sorry misread your quote …..all those cameras are inoticably different really they have very few differences they are all consumer level slrs will all take similar photos in similar situations all about the same price all handle very similarly.

  5. sacredgeometry says:

    both the cameras …
both the cameras are pretty much identical as where the 350d and 400d i know i hhave used all four :) dont worry you will get used to it……if you dont then go read a book on slr photography or general photography even if its aimed towards film all the theory is the same the buttons will just be in a different place :)

    peace

    @sacredgeometry:

    @sacredgeometry:
Chill mate, don’t get all fussy now!
I am not looking for people to tell me what to do but for users having done what I am doing now and their impressions of it, phrases like:
“I bought a 500D as my first reflex camera and feel it is to complicated for me, should have gone for a 450D because I do not use the video”.

  8. sacredgeometry says:

    wow! do you need …
wow! do you need other people to make your decisions in life for you. What difference would it make if he told you he would buy it over any of those other cameras? really? would you go out and by it on the suggestions of a stranger (which by the way is all you can get beyond specs and images taken with the camera.)

what on earth makes you think that anyone else should be able to tell you what you want? and that your needs are identical to anyone else.

    fucking !

  9. kc125755 says:

    This video does not …
This video does not help me much, they just state the specs, I can get them from the Canon website.
I want to pass from a EZ-70 to an EOS (450D, 500D or even the 1000D), now which should I choose?

  10. stokmarknes says:

    Does the camera …
Does the camera have a microphone input?

Does the camera have a microphone input?

  12. Dovebyrd says:

    I’ve had this for 3 …
I’ve had this for 3 weeks now & never had this much fun w/ a camera. Whether you just want to grab-n-shoot, or have your own fun manually setting the shoot, this camera is naturally simple to work w/. Having been waiting a LONG time for my purchase and analyzing the cameras for ever, I am happy I chose this over Nikon’s D90!

  13. WhatDigitalCamera says:

    Actually, you can …
Actually, you can shoot both stills and movies in any one of the colour options, including black and white.

  14. cheezecakeV2 says:

    There is no black …
There is no black and white movie mode, but it doesn’t take much to add in that effect with an editor.

  15. blztank says:

    Can this camera …
Can this camera shoot in black and white?Does it have a mode for it?

  16. scaredweepel says:

    Personally: You …
Personally: You know yourself what the beginner camera market has to offer…it’s personal opinion which everyone goes on — from Beginners to Pros — Buy what you want and camera that feels right for you. There’s barely any difference in all those models..It also depends on what subjects you photograph and how you go about taking them. Another debate is what choice of lenses you use! Don’t be fooled by gimmicks like the “rotating” LCD screen!

  17. jessicang6 says:

    But I thought canon …
But I thought canon had more megapixels? And may I ask if the 19 scene modes are actually useful? Thanks.

  18. anty45 says:

    i used the canon …
i used the canon and the nikon i prefer the nikon D5000 the image quality is much beter and its easier to use for a beginner

  19. livindeadgal says:

    wow,i have been …
wow,i have been tryin to decide between either of em since morning and can’t seem to choose yet.19 scene modes and rotating lcd screen is quite tempting but i get pixel greedy :D

  20. jessicang6 says:

    I cant choose …
I cant choose between the D5000 and EOS 500D. There’s quite a price difference for D90 (worth it?). Maybe the price will lower a bit after D3000′s out? Initially I wanted Nikon, but it does feel a bit silly to be so stubborn. Also, for D5000, is the “rotating” LCD screen of good use? And the 19 scene modes? Cuz I like how it has the graphic mode, which makes it easier for beginners.

  21. omicula says:

    The 500D (T1i). It …
The 500D (T1i). It surpassed the D5000 in ISO and in autofocus testing. The Nikon does have better Delta E than the Canon though. Altogether, the Canon is better.

  22. dalo3a2 says:

    wich is better …
wich is better nikon d5000 or canon 500d?

  23. adictess says:

wow i fell in love …
