The HD video …
The HD video doesn’t worth much on the SX200 because there is no zooming while filming (why, did they forgot?). The Panasonic ZS3 looks much better and does have it with a real wide angle lens, but there’s no full manual control like the SX200.
Dilema….

This review is …
This review is obviously bias. Talks only about the good stuff. There are some pertaining issues which should be discussed, for example the you can’t zoom when taking video. And a good review obviously doesn’t recommend you to buy without doing comparison with other similar spec camera. Check lumix fz7 for comparison.

i you’re looking for something in the 300-400 price range DEF. consider this.
it’s GREAT!!!
I have a general knowledge of ISO settings and whatnot.
makes taking pictures EASY, really user friendly. might be a bit bigger for some those with small hands. but size doesn’t matter much. it’s REALLY a great camera.
self portraiting is easy too! ever try to take a picture of urself and miss? never again with the wide angle lens. Zoom is impeccable!!!
GET IT!!

I would choose this …
I would choose this one, it’s a close call but as far as I know the tx200 allows more manual settings of aperture/shutter etc, rathern then forcing the user into fully automatic all the time.
