Sony Buyer

I have DVD Flick and it works great BUT when I burn a dvd from my computer it will play perfectly on the JVC dvd player in my room and not the Sony dvd player (much newer and better) in the living room. When I put it in to play in the Sony player the audio is way off. Is there anything I can do when burning it to make it play??? I’ve looked everywhere!!!

I used the mini sony dvd-r discs with my camcorder and I don’t know how to watch it. My computer cant read it and neither does my dvd player. The dvd player has the middle rings to hold small disc but it wont play. Please help

With the mini-DVD in the camcorder, finalize it. Instructions on how to finalize the disc are in the camcorder’s instruction manual. Be sure you plug the camera in to a working AC outlet with the power adapter. If you try to finalize on the camcorder’s battery only and the battery runs out during the finalizing process, that video will never be accessible without a lot more work.

After finalizing the disc, take it out of the camcorder, load it to the drawer loading DVD drive in the computer and watch the video… Or put it in the regular DVD player connected to a TV. The camcorder’s instruction manual will also have information for you to connect the camcorder’s AV port to a TV.

If you do not have the camcorder manual, download a copy by searching for your camcorder’s model number (on the sticker on the bottom of the camcorder) in the support area at sony.com.

i have a sony dvd player with a usb port when i copy a file(movie) from my pc to the usb then i plug my usb in to the dvd player how do i play the file?

It’s a sony camcorder, using sony mini dvd-rw, then after finalizing, playback is in a sony dvd player. Playback skips like it’s buffering to the point of being irritating. Can i fix this problem?

It sound like you knocked the camera when you were recording, this happens so often, both with mini-dvd and HDD cameras. they do not like vibration or knocks.

try playing it back on your computer and on the camera, does it play back correctly or not, if not then you need to take more care of the camera while you record, if it does then you may need to clean you dvd player even a little dust can stop it playing correctly.
