Sony Buyer

Hi. I have a Sony Ericsson C510 but it is loaded with a software by Vodafone mobile network i want to remove that software to make the phone run faster and then i can download and install the factory software from sonyericsson.com

I already tried to update the phone by a non-vodafone software from sonyericsson.com but that didn’t remove the vodafone software, i need to remove the vodafone software first.

Can anyone guide me to a program paid or unpaid to solve this problem.

You basically have 2 options. (3 if you count taking it into a shop)
1: Doing it yourself for free, via CDA change using a customize_upgrade.xml file, then use SEUS to upgrade to a generic firmware.
2: Paying an online company to change the CDA and flash it with their generic firmware. Eg http://www.wotanserver.com/en/supported-phones/sonyericsson-c510-debranding/

You need A2 uploader & a correct CDA script first.
