Sony Buyer

Im looking to buy a Sony Vaio FW245JH. Does it have a backlight for the keyboard & if not which models do?

i would just go into a local best buy and check it out.

A few minutes ago, I turned on my Sony Vaio Notebook computer. For some reason, none of my files were there on my desktop, only the ‘Recycle Bin’ icon. I freaked out and re-started my computer, and when it came back on, everything was back. But now all the type is tiny! Everything from the names of the files to the address bar at the top of the internet page is in tiny font, and it is really weird…

Can anyone tell me why this is, and how to get it back to normal?

Hiya, try changing your screen resolution to something lower, it sounds as though you have it set too high.
Right-click on an empty part of the desktop to bring up a menu, you will find a setting in there to change your resolution – what that setting is all depends on what version of windows you have. If you cant find it, add me to yahoo and I’ll be able to help you further =)

Which laptop would you say is better: Macbook, Apple or Notebook, Sony?

I also need something with a lot of space & takes good pictures.

I contacted my computer’s support (Sony) for my notebook computer’s sound problem and they said it was hardware after multiple troubleshooting. However, they didn’t give me the info regarding what part and such and tried to get me to service my computer with them. I want to buy/repair on my own. What part or type of hardware do I have to purchase? Is it a sound card?

try opening the computer and check weather the cable from motherboard to speaker is not broken or faulty. Then check the speakers…if the cable is ok…check the pins in the cable socket and motherboard…most of the technicians are useless while solving the problems.
