How do I connect my Sony PS2 to the internet (wireless)?

Jul 25
2010

I read that you need a linksys but I have 2WIRE. Can I still connect wireless? How? And if not, can you give me a very simple way to connect it using a wire? I can connect it to a computer that connects to internet.
There’s a attachment you plug-in to the back that enables wireless internet -_-

Its not possible to connect your PS2 to the internet. Mainly because there is no ethernet port or wireless NIC installed

Also, PS2 games are becoming less and less supported, and was not designed for playing games online. You can not play PS2 games online, and if you could the manufacturers of said games would quickly remove servers for PS2 online gaming, considering the popularity has dropped massively

Need Sony PS2 eyetoy camera driver for use on a Windows XP 64-Bit PC?

2010

I looked and looked all over online & even wikpedia whatever it says years ago that the Sony PS2 eyetoy only worked as a pc webcam on anything EXCEPT 64-bit.I just thought somebody might have came up with a driver to download by now.If not, that’s fine but if so,please post the link or send me the file in email.

I know a good site which may help you find what you need:

http://www.drivers-updates.net/

There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
Good luck.

My Sony PS2 Freezes Up During Game Play?

Apr 14
2010

I have a Sony PS2 game console that I purchased new over a year ago. Lately, I’ve noticed that it’s starting to stall or "freeze up" during game play. It seems to happen no matter what game I’m playing. There’s nothing in the owner’s manual about this problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and how to resolve it? Thanks!

1: Check all your cables
2: Make sure there is no dust anywhere in the air vents and make sure yor keep the area dust free.
3: call customer support/warranty
4:take it to where you bought it
sorry for the crappy help there just simple solutions that may make it work.
and by the way if you have the slim ps2 it wont last as long as the original because there arent as many air vent and its all clogged up so stick with original.

How to use a usb on a sony ps2 as a memory card?

4 years ago my mom and dad bought me and my brother a ps2 version1, it has two usb ports. well we both also got are very own 32 mb Max Memory cards, after a while say about 2 years ago these memory cards both stopped working not even showing up in the ps2 system. can i fix these cards or can i use a usb card… i need all hacks cheats and other options.

Most off-brand memory cards use battery-backed RAM, which means once the battery dies, the card is junked, unless you open up the card and replace the battery (and even then, everything that was saved on it is lost).

You cannot use the USB ports as memory storage on a PS2, because the games are not written to do so.
