Could any body please tell me if a Sony Playstation 2 will work on a Monitor or do you have to use it on a TV?

I was wondering if you could use a Sony Plastaion 2 on a normal monitor or does it have to be used on a TV?

it depends on whether the monitor has RCA or component inputs. most monitors do not. one thing you could do is buy a TV PCI card for the computer hooked up to the monitor that has an RCA input, then you can plug the ps2 into the computer and watch it through the TV software
