When capturing HDV …
When capturing HDV or SD footage directly from the CF recorder to FCP 6.0.5 and utilizing the Sony Recording Unit RAD software, transcoding occurs upon ingest. Files are aved to capture scratch wrapped as .MOV. No third party transcoder necessary. Very fast. No timeline rendering required.

even 110U can only record 720p but the picture quality almost better than any HDVcam because of that professional len,but 110U is shoulder mount cam not a handheld cam so which one you prefer? 110U don’t have auto focus,you have to shoot with manual focus all the time do you know that?

HMC150 is 28mm and Z5 is 29mm wide,so HMC150 is just only a little bit wider than Z5,but HMC150 is 13X zoom and Z5 is 20X zoom so which one better?
