dvd recorder to record in widescreen from a sony dv deck?

Playing dvcam widescreen through sony hvrm-15u deck. It captures fine to computer for editing.
I need a dvd recorder that records in widescreen. My panasonic dmrh-e55 cuts off sides in record mode. The display menu allows to switch playback to 16:9 but nothing for input signal.

i have the same cam, it doesn't work with it, buy a different type
