Hey everyone, just wanted to show you an HD recording of Sony’s new Firmware update 3.0 for all Playstation 3 models, including the newly released PS3 slim.
There are many aspects of the update that I like and I think Sony did a good job with the additions. We’re all hoping for cross game chat in the future, and I’m sure it’s an aspect that they’re working on.

This device is bullshit, whatever anyone does, don’t buy it. It downscales to ty “DVD” quality, while it’s blurry at or has pixelation. before it used to produce aliasing in the video, now it records to original framerate (60 fps), and then blends to avoid aliasing, but making it look like horses**t.

i think sony is trying to copy the xbox cuz of the game marketplace and video marketplace because that is how xbox shows movies and games.
the friends and messages thing on the top right is also on the xbox just like that, showing ur messages and how many friends u have online..
its just like the xbox except for the freinds list which im not that big a fan of but overall the update is allright

By the way, the Japanese store has a free dynamic theme based on the game Afrika. It’s under the first tab on the store, second row under that tab, in the middle of that row. It’s nothing special. Just some Zebras eating grass and walking around. The sky doesn’t change based on the time either. If you do keep it be sure to keep the Japanese account on your PS3 or it will say “Corrupted Data” for the theme.
