i have a sony mavica model mvc-fd85 digital camera ,when a disc is inserted it says format erroe 13-1,when i try to format disc error message appears ,i believe hard drive is out of whacck.is there any way to reformat hard drive?
This is one of the earliest Sony Digital Cameras that uses regular 3.5" floppy disks. Try formatting other disks in the camera – do you get the same error message? I also suggest formatting the disk with your computer to rule out the possibility that you have some bad disks.
If the problem is not with the disks, then the problem is most likely with the disk drive in the camera. You'll probably need to contact Sony for repairs….or it's time for a new camera.

cameras don't have hard drives. it's probably a problem with the hardware. and those are mini-CD's

Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.
picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
Download it free in here:

I say you just go buy another camera with all the money you have or ask for one for your birthday.
