You would just make …
You would just make a video in Sony Vegas and save it to your computer. DVD Architect puts your movies into a format that is only appropriate for a DVD.

The instructions …
The instructions for doing this are too complex for this channel. They are in my DVD Architect tutorials on DVD on Amazon. Someone else on Youtube might have addressed this question, but I have not made and don’t plan on making any videos here on this subject.

You don’t want to …
You don’t want to use any compressed files in DVD Architect. It gets confused. Use the raw .avi. Please see previous comments. DVD Architect compresses the files, so compressing a compressed file doesn’t work. It thinks the file is something other than what it is. Divx is compressed and should not be used as an import into DVD Architect.

The best quality …
The best quality you will get is .avi. It is a large file, but it is what you want to import into DVD Architect.
You don’t open DVD architect from Sony Vegas Pro. You open DVD Architect from your installed copy of DVD Architect. It is a separate program. Then you use the instructions in this video to create a DVD from the .avi files you rendered in Sony Vegas.
Thanks for posting this here.

You have to pay for …
You have to pay for it if you download it and use it for more than 30 days, but as I said before – it’s free if you purchase Sony Vegas Movie Studio, whatever version.

is there a way, I keep thinking about using a chromakey, but can I resize the time movie so it want be the same size as the hockey movie.
Appreciate any help…

It should be …
It should be telling you how much room you have left on the DVD you are going to be burning. It creates a footprint of the files that will be on it and tells you how much more you can add.

I don’t know. I …
I don’t know. I can’t tell unless I am in front of your computer, watching what you are doing. Are you able to burn a disc no problem without DVD Architect?
If so, did you let your computer format the disc before trying to start writing to it in DVD Architect. If so, you need to let DVD architect prep your disc instead of your computer. Sometimes Vista will mess up your disc for DVD architect by formatting it.

Tells you always …
Tells you always how much free disk space you have. It affects everything about the burning of the disc.
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:04 am
is it normal that …
is it normal that in the right lower corner appears a sign that says “space on disc 12.06 Gb”(or something) I don´t know if this is gonna affect the burning of the disc or something???

#3 This software has never let me down. Been using it since version 6 of Sony Vegas. Have made hundreds of DVDs in the way described. Comparing this to an Apple Mac and Final Cut Pro is no comparison. (my opinion, sorry…but the final product speaks for itself). I’ve seen product from Final Cut Pro, and from Sony Vegas. Side by side, in my humble opinion, there’s no comparison between a .avi compressed by windows media encoder or the same .avi compressed into .mov.
