How can I backup picture/MMS messages from my Sony Ericsson phone to a computer?

I have had a Sony Ericsson w800i phone for two years now and have just bought a new phone. Over the years, I've received quite a few picture/MMS messages I'd like to either back up to my PC or bring with me to the new phone.

I'm able to manually save every picture I've received as picture files on my phone, but then I lose the context of who, when and text in the messages. I've not been able to find any software out there to backup my MMS from the phone. Only upload new ones to the phone.

Any suggestions?

If the data software that came with the phone cannot do this I honestly don't know what can help you back-up the complete MMS to a PC. Try calling 1-866-866-7362 which is for Sony Ericsson customer support
