How can I Burn movies with a Sony DvD RW DL Bruner?

2009

Greetings,
I have a Sony DvD RW DL Bruner (just installed) yesterday. But I cannot seem to get it to work with my software (Roxio Easy CD & DvD) program, My DvD Express programs: RealPlayer, or Windows Media….. :0( I have aDell Dimension E310 system. ((((HELP PLEASE))))

First things first. Has it been installed correctly? In My Computer, is there an icon for the drive? If there isn’t, then check the cables. If the drive is recognised, then can you read another CD/DVD from that drive? If not, then the drive is faulty. It’s a new one, take it back.

After that it is a matter of the software. It may be that you are not doing something correctly. Burning a video is not a matter of simply dragging and dropping into a DVD folder. Have a read of the help folders.

You may take a look at this step by step guide, it will teach you how to convert and burn movie to DVD. I followed it and successfully burned movie to DVD to play on my home DVD player, it’s easy to understand, I think it deserves a try.
