How can I get music onto my sony ericsson walkman?

I have the new AT&T sony ericsson walkman and I am trying to transfer music to the phone. I downloaded the Disc2Phone software and selected the music that I wanted. But when I plug in the USB cable, the software doesn't recognize that it is in and I can't transfer the music. What is wrong?

I had the same problem with my w600i and what i would have to do is, plug in the usb cable and then click on "My computer" there it would show my sony ericsson then i would have to transfer the files there. another way is, get a memory card and transfer the songs directly to your memory card then put the card in the phone, voila! the songs are in your phone
