How can I transfer music to my sony ericsson w580i?

I wanted to know how can i transfer music to my sony…because my pc is not recognizing it. I have the USB cable and the memory card. I downloaded he Disc2Phone software but i still have problems…what am I missing?

your memory card bring an adapter with it and you put the memory card on the adapter and put it on the computer
and put your songs on the music folder. ok if you need help
