how do i backup my text messages from my sony ericsson mobile to my laptop?

i have a sony ericsson w350i mobile phone and i’m planning on getting a new phone. i have a lot of important text messages on my phone at the minute which i don’t want to loose. is there any way i can back them up because i really can’t afford to lose them? i have a apple macbook laptop but i can get hold of a windown laptop if needed.

You could forward them to your e-mail account, the send them back to your new phone!!!
