How do I brighten the monitor screen on my Sony laptop? I can’t figure out how to control the brightness.

I have a Sony laptop. The model is PCG-K13 (if it matters). The screen is so dim that I can hardly see it. Please help by giving me some ideas on how I can control the brightness of this monitor. I don’t have the owner’s manuals anymore so I’m really stuck on this one. ALL idea’s are greatly appreciated! THANKS

im guesing that you have a "Fn" button (most laptops do). hold this down and tap the button which shows a picture of a sun pointing down or up.
