How do I get my Sony Mini DV Camera detected by Windows Movie Maker without using Firewire?

I have less than 3 days to edit my movie and send it to Denver School of the Arts. I have no time to buy a Firewire cord and adapter. What should I do?!

There is no way to connect it directly to your computer without using firewire.

If you can find someone that has a laptop (they usually have firewire ports) or a firewire connection in there computer, hook your camera up to their computer and save the video to a USB or CD.

Hope this helps
