How do I hook up a set of 2.1 logitech pc speakers (two speakers and sub) to a Sony DVD player?

My Sony dvd player already has two big speakers and a big sub (used to have two small speakers with it but they broke), my high school grad is coming up at the end of the year and I want the music to be extra loud therefore connecting my pc speakers to the sound system seems like a good idea. How do i hook the pc speakers up to the dvd player? Thanks

Well, on most DVD players there should be a headphone jack that you can plug your speakers into. By the way, the “headphone” jack isn’t just for headphones, it’s really just a typical audio-out jack. From the looks of what the player could run before, it should have more than enough power for the computer speakers.
