How do i restore my sony vaio to facory settings?

computer is a sony vaio model number vgn-n365e. I recently sold the computer to my mom and she wants to restore it to the factory settings. The problem is that the computer didn’t come with a restore disk. How do i restore it to factory settings without the disk?

start
programs
accessories
system tools
system restore
click on restoring to previous date
then select the date you want to restore your system to

it may not restore the system if the date is too old becasue windows delete them after time

    System Restore
    –> Put back to the orignial state.

    Or, you could uninstall your OS, and then reinstall it?
