How do I upload pictures from the album of my Sony camera to my computer?

The photos have been deleted from the main folders but a copy of the photos are stored in the “album” folder of the camera. Is it possible to get those on the computer? I am opening the drive on my computer, but only the main folders can be accessed from there. i need the old photos. I dont have those saved elsewhere. Please tell me how I should get the pictures from the “album” to the main folders. Also, I use a Sony Cyber Shot 10.1 Megapixels.

I use a PC with Windows XP Media Center.
