How do I use the hidden partition on my Sony Vaio?

I am assuming it is the original setup software. How can I access this? Sony Vaio with Windows XP Home edition
Very little documentation came with the PC.

Read the documentation. There will be a function key you can press during boot to get it to boot the machine.

    It could be hidden for a reason, It could have backup software on it.
