how do you brighten the screen on a sony vaio?

I’m sure all vaios laptops uses the same technique to brighten the screen. My laptop is a sony vaio pcg-frv31.

Most laptops have a function key
just look around for it in the lower left side of the keyboard it should be a different color and be marked Fn
Hold this down and at the same time look across the top of the keyboard for a symbol of the same color on another key that looks like a sun symbol or lightbulb and there should be 2 of them one for brighten and one for darken
They might also have an arrow next to the sun symbol
These keys also can control the wireless card external monitors, sounds, mice, 10 key function and etc
If you jump on www.sony.com you can download the user manual for your computer and then just click the file and check the answer for yourself
