How do you delete videos off my sony DVD?

It’s DVD-R is there anyway I can delete the videos off of it?
I want to make more space on it and I have videos I don’t need on it
Thanks!

You can do that only on DVD-RW’s, DVD-R’s are write once disks, once you finalize the disk is over.

    No you can’t erase dvd-r or dvd+ only dvd-rw’s can be erased.
