How to fix Sony Memory Stick DUO memory card?

After taking a couple of pictures using my 1GB MSDuoPro memory card on my Sony T20, when reviewing, some pictures were displayed as "File Corrupted" or something along the lines of that. When uploading them onto my computer, some pictures seemed to fail to save (only half of picture showed, and other half was blue) or sections of pictures became pink, some pictures, half of it was shifted upwards. What an I do? I know this isn’t the camera’s fault because I took pictures using another memory card and it worked perfectly. Picture can be shown upon request.

It sounds like a fake MSD card to me, where did you buy this from? If it was a legit Sony product id say send it back(possible compensation??).

As for the photos, the only way u’ll have luck retreiving them is by sending them to a specialist data recovery company, it’ll cost a bit but i suppose it depends how important the photos are.

Good luck anyways

having a defective memory card is quite common, take it back and get it replaced through the store you got it from (or use Sony’s 1-800 # to make a claim for the 1-year warrantee)
