Sony Buyer

In the manual for my new Sony Walkman phone, it said all i needed to download was a program called Disc2Phone. well, i went to the website and it told me that they had replaced that with Media Manager. i downloaded that and tried to use it, but when i connect my phone it doesn’t show up. i don’t have a memory card in it, i was wondering if that was the problem…or do i need to buy a cd?
