How to take pictures with Sony Vaio Laptop?

I just got a new sony vaio laptop for christmas and i just recently started using it more.
Im wondering how to take pictures with its motion eye?
If its possible? or do i have to buy a program?

click the av mode then you will see a camera logo and click on it
