How to unlock a Sony DVD player?

I just bought a Sony DX250 5 DVD Home Theatre and was looking to unlock it so it can play UK DVDs (I just moved to the US).

Anyone know how I can do this?

check vcdhelp.com under reviews — players as there might be a firmware hack for your home player.
