I was wondering how do you put music onto the sony cybershot t70. i have the software that was included with the camera but when i connect it, it says to connect camera and to check manual for settings. Can someone help me please!??!?!
My friend has this camera and It’s quite different to transfer music to the camera than to my dsc t-30.
What you have to do is:
make sure you install the software and drivers that’s included in the CD.
Then after you install that, you should see some new programs on your desktop or in the start menu. One program is called "music transfer" and that’s the program you’re gonna use.
Before you transfer music to your camera, Don’t connect your camera to your computer yet. Disconnect it from your computer if it’s already connected.
Turn on your camera and go to the HOME menu.
In the HOME menu, there are 5 tabs at the bottom of the screen. Press the middle tab. It should be the PRINTING, OTHER tab.
In this window, there should be two options, Print and music tool.
Select Music tool.
Now press download music.
Open the Sony Music Transfer program.
Connect the camera to your computer.
Then follow the on screen instructions to choose an upload music.
The music uploaded is only played during slideshows in the camera and can’t be used as an MP3 function. I think there’s like a maximum of 4 songs you can upload to the camera and these files also get truncated down to about 2 minutes each song.
Hopefully this helps =)

There is a music tool in the menu. My guess that will be the best place to start.
Does the camera have a nice speaker or head phone jack on it?
From the Sony site:
"HD Slide Show with Music"
"It’s the high-definition viewing experience that makes photos more entertaining to watch, accompanied by your choice of visual effects and any of four "preset" musical selections stored in memory or your favorite music downloaded from PC to your camera for use as background music4."
