I have a Sony DVD Music system with 2 speakers. What do I need to amplify the sound and add more speakers?

Is there a way to just buy a 5.1 speaker system and attach it to my music system? Please suggest all possible ways. Thank you.

Only if your Music System supports 5.1 output then buy a 5.1 system and connect your music system to it.
Orwise buy an amplifier and connect any extra speakers through it.

    Your Sony system must have preouts to hookup an additional amplifier. The music system is not intended for surround sound. You would need a surround sound processor. "If you need more help call me at 813-774-5454 or visit http://wwwAVSouth.us for more information."
