If i take apart the blu ray drive on my ps3 will sony still sell a refurbished one?

My ps3 has the yellow light of death and I have a game stuck in it. I want to get the game back and i would prefer to do it myself to make sure I get it but will sony still sell me a refurbished one for £150 if I do it.

if you take it apart you void any warranty , plain and simple
tell them there is a game inside and it will be returned with the repaired model
sometimes they even return it with a brand new game
