My speaker has 3 rca jacks input, and ps2 has only optical out.
Is there any converter out there?
or you could just run your standard red and white audio cables to the 5.1 speakers, buy a coupler and a single yellow video cord and extend the video line to make that connect. your options are kinda limited. no matter what its gonna sound like hot ass.

yes there is a converter. i have one hooked up to my PS3 converting from optical to coaxial so it should work with any optical output. You’ll have to call around to local stores or order it online. The product below is the same one I own.

not doable without some methoid to convert the digital signal (optical in the case pf the pos2) to the split signals required by the srround speakers.
normally a surround receiver woudl take that optical input and convert it to 5.1 and send to your speakers.
for the cost of the converter to do this you could purchase a Home theatre in a box with the connections to do what you want

Wingman, that is a digital fiber optic to digital coaxial and will not work in this situation. I think what he needs is converting from digital optic to regular 2-channel rca.
