is there another way to transfer files from my sony ericsson phone to my pc without using the pc suite?

because i cant get the sony ericsson pc suite to connect to my phone and ive tried troubleshooting the problem but it wont work because i dont have administrational rights.
so is there another way using the usb i can get files of my phone onto my computer?

Unfortunately without the pc suite software the pc won’t recognize the phone as a storage device therefore you won’t be able to use it to transfer files. Also if the pc suite is installed but shut down it will not work. The pc suite MUST recognize the phone there’s no other way. Have you tried uninstalling the pc suite, rebooting and then re-installing? Hope this helped.

    Yeah there is another way i do the same with my phone.

    Connect the phone to the pc and on your mobile click file transfer.
    Then on the computer it will say open folder to view files click on that.
    Then all the files that are on your mobile will appear in the folder you just opened.

    Then if you want to transfer files from your computer onto your mobile for example a photo then get the folder up which you want to transfer onto the mobile and then just click on the icon and drag it into the mobile folder.

    take out the memory card on your phone ( I hope you have sd card/memory stick on your laptop or any device that is plug and play like placing the memory card on sone digital camera which is always using the same memory stick as sony ericsson phones.)
