i have sony wlakman digital music player and recetly it apperas error massage said "Format Error" is there any solution this error massage.
I wait your response

    usually when they say format error, the programming's been shot. I think that you might have to reset it to factory settings & start all over again with the installation CD.

    Best bet is to do a google search for the model, and see if there is anyone else thats having that problem. Also go to Sony's website, and check the model number, see what relevent info they have for your walkman. Or if you got it recently return it to the store you bought it at, and get a new one. I imagine there is a 1 year manufacturing warranty through sony, might be longer.
