1) Because a lot of gamers have already played through the good games of the SNES era. We like new games and the countless RPGs DS has to offer.
2) Because we don’t all enjoy playing those on a tiny screen.

Better Idea: Cartidge adaptor. for ex. say you have the DS lite, nintendo or some other company is open to create a GBA cartidge to Video Out extention (via Reverse Engineering) and you’d be able to use the DS as a controller. The modification process would be much -no doubt- easier than this.

Hahaha no bullshit man, just some handy soldering skills.. the snes controller was hardwired to the ds buttons and the picture was captured to the tv via sony handycam focussed and zoomed to the ds’s lower scree.
