PlayStation®2 is a revolutionary computer entertainment system set to reinvent the nature of video games. Incorporation both CD and DVD formats, PlayStation®2 has been designed to offer you a range of computer entertainment options combining games, video and music. Not only is it be supported by numerous high quality software titles with hundreds more in development, it is the first machine of it’s kind to offer backwards compatibility. So, you can use your existing PlayStation® software on the new system. As well as games, PlayStation®2 also offers both CD and DVD formats. The fusion of interactive entertainment with music and video will open the doors to new entertainment experiences in the home.
PlayStation®2 delivers a new dimension to your gaming experience. You will not only be able to play your original PlayStation software on the system, but you will be able to enjoy the enhanced graphics of a range of new games developed specifically for PlayStation®2. The inclusion of Dolby Digital, AC-3 and DTS capabilities allow you to experience staggeringly real sound effects and mood defining music that will deliver a truly emotional experience.
It is the "Emotion Engine" at the heart of PlayStation®2 that enables you to cross the line into a new universe of digital interactivity. The "Emotion Engine" is a 128 Bit CPU that takes 3D graphics into another sphere – gravity, friction and emotive materials from fire to snow are stunningly and realistically recreated on-screen. This "Emotion Synthesis" produces completely accurate physical simulations, elevating gameplay to a higher level. The "Emotion Engine" simultaneously processes high-resolution 3D graphics at the same time as high quality DVD images, resulting in superior real-time graphics and sound quality.
The Future of PS2
USB and i-LINK technology have been incorporated into the PlayStation®2 design along with an expansion bay for a hard disc drive/network interface. This anticipates a future of digital interconnectivity where networking will play a key role. PlayStation®2 will revolutionise home entertainment by evolving into a home network terminal for the electronic distribution (e-distribution) of digital content. As well as broadband receipt of entertainment content, the HDD will be able to store content downloaded from mobile phones.
Developers are already looking at ways to deliver applications through connection to computer and AV technology – digital cameras, microphones and printers – so you can look forward to experiencing even greater interactive entertainment in the future.

this is a good package. It's getting a little old though. The game is fun, but it would have been much better if it had a steering wheel controller. Lots of people will like the game, but if you really don't like racing games you probably won't enjoy it.
Pro : good game to start out with
Con : for racing game fans

You got to be joking man, i buy & sell ps2 systems all the time.
Over 200 hahahaha.
I can get a new one with 5 games for 150. A new ps2 slim for only 149.99 2 times less that what you are asking.
Take my advice, lower it.
120 or 90 for all, any thing more would be insane
Pro : Good system people.
Con : To dam much buddy!

The PS2 is a good system, and correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't GT4 out for the PS2 before the PS3 was set to launch? I know this is a bundle for the cheap, but if GT4 was available and compatable, that would've been great.
Pro : the ps2 still has an edge on the existing market until the ps3 is out
Con : the game is a wee bit old
