skiing with Sony DV Camera (dcr hc-38)?

I ski with my friends and own a sony dcr hc-38 dv camera and i am curious what i can do to protect my camera from water/snow damage while still being able to record footage….. thanks

The BEST way to do it – if your camcorder has AV-in and maybe a LANC port would be to use a helmet cam… the camcorder goes in a back-pack, the helmet cam on your head, the LANC controller on your waist…

Check any of the helmet cam manufacturers web sites to see if your camcorder is compatible.
