I first used my PS3 to play Blu-ray. It's great, except for the fan noise. It becomes too obtrusive while watching movies.
I wanted to stay with Sony and high quality. I obtained the BDP-S2000ES.
It's also great in every aspect except start-up and loading speed.
When you finaly get the tray to open, you insert the disc, close it, and about 10 seconds later it opens again on it's own. Very annoying!
Pro : Looks and build quality
Con : Slow!
