The T70 is the second digital camera I've purchased in the last six years. Buying Sony was the logical choice since the name has proven itself worthy as with many other products. The price is competitive and the "smile" feature is innovative. Seeking the most bang my buck in a point-and-shoot, I believe the search is over. Oh yea, the accessories are pretty cool too.
Pro : Large viewing screen, slim design, usable functions.
Con : Exposed viewing screen subject to scratches.

This is my second cybershot and I love it. My first was a T-50 and comparatively the T-70 is superior. The picture quality is great for amateur photography and daily use. The compact design and quick power on features are great. The full touch screen makes maneuvering in menus fast and easy. The battery life and shutter speed are amazing. Overall a good buy for someone looking for a camera to last.

You rock SONY! I'm all done with Canon. The Canon I had had problems right out of the box. After taking 10 pictures it was time to
re-charge.Sent the Canon in for repair, took 3 weeks to get back and came back worse.
NO more Canon for me! SONY you are NO.1…. Took my DCS-T70 to work now fellow workers going out to get one for xmas. Ho Ho Ho

Sony has made a quality product. The biggest probleme that I have with it is the fact that you are forced into using a Sony Battery. All the other cameras that I have owned you can use aa batterys. So Sony forces you to use there Battery. More Money in Sonys pocket. But it is still a great camera.
